Calligraphy is beautiful writing. Because it’s unusual and beautiful it stands out. It’s especially noticeable when it’s clearly hand-drawn, though beautiful fonts can be striking too.
You don’t see calligraphy very often. It’s reserved for special messages, usually invitations or cards.
The joy of calligraphy made me wonder about that. Couldn’t calligraphy turn an ordinary message into extraordinary artwork? Beyond that, how many of our daily interactions could be extraordinary if we just made the choice to make them so? How many moments can I make “calligraphy moments”, something beautiful out of something ordinary?
