Bagging groceries is one of those tasks that you hardly notice unless there’s a problem. Bread or grapes crushed under a juice bottle you notice. Far too many nearly empty bags you notice. All the heavy stuff in one bag that breaks when you lift it from the cart to your car you notice.
Today I finally noticed this job well done. Four well organized, well distributed bags were a joy to receive and a reminder that every job can be done well or poorly. It’s worth paying attention so as not to miss the joy of a job done well.
